A straight race: the most XP in one skill (Skill of the Week) or the most kills at a boss or group of bosses (Boss of the Week) between the start and end time. Despite the name, it can run for any length of time.
These formats are still rolling out. If you don't see them when creating an event, ask us in our Discord.
Your XP or kills are picked up by the RuneLite plugin as you play, so the standings move between hiscores updates. Clan members who don't use the plugin still count through Wise Old Man.
Depending on the setup, you are entered automatically as a clan member or you press Join on the event page. Bonus points (below) need the plugin, since they come from your drops and personal bests.
Create an event from your group's Events tab and choose Skill of the Week or Boss of the Week. The setup guide then has a Competition step instead of Tasks. See Running an event for the steps they share.
The competition settings lock when the race starts. Races are for one clan only; clan vs clan isn't available for this format.
Rank by the amount gained, with bonus points shown alongside. Or rank by points: gained XP or kills are turned into points (for example, 1 point per 10,000 XP) and bonuses are added to the same total.
Add up to 12 bonus rules, such as:
Each rule has a limit per player, or No limit to pay every time.
Standings update live on the event page, in the Discord Activity, and on a self-updating leaderboard message in Discord. The Breakdown view splits the score into kills per boss and points per bonus rule, and you can export it as a spreadsheet. When the race ends, final standings are posted and frozen.
To reward players, set up Clan points for placement.
