Could you show a player ID in the DropTracker RuneLite sidebar and let players opt in to sharing their activity status with clan tools? Members could enter that ID in our clan portal, allowing us to check when they last submitted a drop or relayed a clan chat message. For relayed messages, we’d need the actual relayer’s identity, rather than the player speaking in chat. Players should be able to disable access whenever they want, with queries restricted to their clan’s group API key. This would help us verify their setup and recognise members who help keep the clan connected.

The next plugin update we are publishing includes functionality that sends players' DropTracker plugin configurations to our backend so that group leaders can see what settings their players are actually using themselves.

This would enable what youre asking for much more easily, so I'll implement something that lets you see this on the website.

Awesome, is there an eta on this? I mostly want to check whether ppl have the api usage on for the clan chat relay
joel via Discord · Oct 5, 2026
Also to clarify that bit, the api will no longer be required for 2 way chat sync, and if a player is in a cc that has it enabled it will send by default on all clients, defaulting to on with a toggle for off

This also in the next plugin update coming in a few days
joel via Discord · Oct 5, 2026
I will likely get it PRd today and the average turnaround has been 12-48hrs lately
joel via Discord · Oct 5, 2026
So i would say you can expect to see it by friday at the latest, unless something unusual happens
Robin via Discord · Oct 5, 2026
Thats amazing news, thank you!
joel via Discord · Oct 5, 2026
Once that goes live, I'll come up with a way of presenting it on the site. Are you looking for it to be queriable thru an api though for your own bot's purposes?
Robin via Discord · Oct 5, 2026
Ideally yeah, i just have a map of our clan chat coverage, so only thing i'd need to se is which players have the plugin enabled
joel via Discord · Oct 5, 2026 (edited)
For sure, well we do already have an API that would expose basically what you are looking for now; barring that I would just have to add a "last plugin activity" portion

Ill read up on the documentation for any changes this weekend 😁 i have it set up manually now so still need to changz
joel via Discord · Oct 5, 2026
https://www.droptracker.io/docs/api I haven't fully exposed this yet but

If you want an api key, just lmk 🙂
Robin via Discord · 1d ago
If you could dm me an api key for my clan that'd be great! Mind of we get in touch in dm for that? 🙂

joel via Discord · 1d ago

Robin via Discord · 23h ago

I was a bit delayed on getting the plugin PR'd, but it's pending approval now so fingers crossed it lands quickly.

No worries at all, im still excited with the speed of implementing my previous idea 😁 im patient, no rush
joel via Discord · 18h ago
Ill work on adding a last_activity to the includes list for players, and their plugin settings
Robin via Discord · 18h ago
Thats pefect, i currently just check our drop channel for drops, but issue is then that the players need to get a drop first, so some are confused 😅 if i can pull the settings and its not N/A i gan put a trigger
