🐛 Team Colors aren't synced

They dont change the names after its made

I'm assuming thats what happened here, you set the color after

I will get around to making them continuously sync later

We had the sign up pool auto created as team 1 then we distributed users.

Is this the event live currently

I logged into Discord really quick on a local PC for this photo.

I just pushed the update for clan chat team colors this morning like, 1h ago it went live

colors should now sync properly as well—as best they can

there are only so many color orbs available ondiscord so some teams may end up with the same icon

if their colors are too similar

i.e purple-esque colors

but roles will have the exact color you configured regardless

they changed names too? this just happened in your server?

No but that’s what Carl bot says is happening. I can confirm the roles become not mentionable

i see what happened, i guess discord treats sending nothing in the update request as a reset instead of just adopting what it had before

sooo when i sent color changes it reset the role name, mentionable, etc

Yes the role shouldn't have any permissions applied

@joelhalen the “Also badge public chat” is available and works when enabled. It’s disabled by default. Is it a problem to enable by default during an event?

I’m displaced here and still don’t want to run IntelliJ on this pc

What if you just only recolored the username and didn’t have an orb

And if you looked in clan chat you could see their team abbreviation.

For now im just going to hot fix the problem, we can look at different ways of displaying for sure though.

Im disabling the recoloring server side for now, ill replace it when the client side problem is patched and live on 6.0.9

Only clan chat should ever be effected by this

Another user submitted this as the fixed mode special chat is hard to read.
