At the end, board wraps around to the first tile. Possibly passing GO/Collect X points?

maybe some day

I like the idea, it's just a copious amount of work to accept on an instant and idk if the event system is ready for additional types

Simply a wraparound race board using the same power ups you have would be sufficient.
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 9, 2026
Having a choice when you get to certain tiles to deviate to different directions is also something asked for.
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 9, 2026
Maybe you take a harder path that is shorter or a easier long path.

Could you add fork tiles? if you complete option one, it takes you left. complete option two, takes you right.
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 9, 2026
Or, you manually choose the direction.
joel via Discord · Sep 9, 2026
i mean sure anything's possible but that deviates from your suggestion here of a monopoly style event
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 10, 2026
I mean, the main idea is to use the infrastructure of the board and just add a loop/split paths/multiple ways to the same tile.
joel via Discord · Sep 10, 2026
Chutes and Ladders is now available
joel via Discord · Sep 10, 2026
Designing the board is totally on you but you can now set a tile that teams are sent to if they land on a specific one
joel via Discord · Sep 10, 2026
Monopoly is an entirely different can of worms tbh
joel via Discord · Sep 10, 2026
The gameplay loop to monopoly has a lot more intricacies
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
@_fazebook_ how would you want "DropTracker Monopoly" to work?
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 23, 2026 (edited)
using your custom shop, just with a wraparound board
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
would a board have defined tasks on each tile already, and dice roll the team forwrad on completion? do teams buy houses and/or mansions and charge for landing on their "properties"
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
i wasn't getting that deep on owning properties
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026 (edited)
is there an ingame economy
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
welli mean you suggested droptracker monopoly
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
what you meant then is a looping boardgame
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
not monopoly
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
yes - thats what i mean. sorry for the confusion.
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
monopoly is too convoluted, id think.
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
rather have simpler games implemented first.
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
kinda why i strayed away from it when you first mentioned. but it's certainly not impossible to build, there's just a lot of things we'd need to re think to make standard monopoly make sense for a osrs event
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
like id think it would be divided into regions of the game, with different content available on each tile in each region, randomly rolled. some tiles worth more than others. landing there first and completing it means your team owns the "property", other teams landing on it owe you money and need to complete the drop they roll prior to moving on
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
but economy, chance cards, jail, property names, etc would be quite the undertaking
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
and also honestly potentially falls under some copyright stuff lol
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
i do want to build more advanced events for sure in the future. i think i need to get it in more peoples' hands and get more wide spread feedback on what direction to take next.
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 23, 2026 (edited)
id definitely be down to help/provide feedback on this if thats the direction you want to go.
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
id say like, connect 4, or reversi would be better games first.
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
i mean i am really just along for the ride lol it's whatever everyone else would want first
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
i don't use it
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
i can say this botw is well received.
_fazebook_ via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
lots of engagement.
joel via Discord · Sep 23, 2026
I am very pleased with how it's looking from an outsider perspective aswell
